Aurora at the Oticon Partner Seminar 2026: four days of experience, technology, and new ideas.

What happens when Oticon partners from 35 countries around the world come together in one picturesque location? Four days of professional networking, new technologies, sharing experiences, and exchanging ideas that may soon transform approaches to hearing care.

That’s exactly what Oticon Partner Seminar 2026 was all about. Held from September 14–18 in Baveno, Italy, a charming town on the shores of Lake Maggiore, the seminar brought together partners from around the world.

Ukraine was represented at the seminar by the team of the Aurora Hearing Rehabilitation Center: Tetiana Bohdanovych, General Director; Yurii Sokolov, Member of the Supervisory Board; and Olena Sokolova, Member of the Supervisory Board.

For Aurora, which has been partnering with Oticon in Ukraine since 1991, the seminar was another opportunity to connect with international colleagues, learn more about the latest developments, and discuss together what the future of hearing care will look like.

From Lago Maggiore to the Future of Hearing Care

The first day of the seminar began with the charm of Baveno, Italy, and an opportunity for participants to get to know one another. The following days were filled with a professional programme focusing on the key changes currently shaping the field of hearing care. This year’s seminar was held under the slogan “WE AIM HIGHER!” The slogan became a recurring theme throughout the programme. The discussions went beyond developing new hearing technologies to explore how hearing care can become more personalised, accessible, and effective for people with hearing loss.

Participants discussed the latest scientific research, the real needs of people with hearing loss, and how technology can help people navigate the sound environment of everyday life more effectively.

Artificial Intelligence: From Trend to Real-World Technology

Artificial intelligence was one of the central themes of the seminar. AI is now being discussed across virtually every industry, and hearing care is no exception. However, an important question remains: how exactly is this technology being used, and what real benefits can it bring to people? During the seminar, Oticon experts presented modern approaches to using artificial intelligence and advanced computational capabilities in hearing solutions. Special attention was given to Oticon Reveal, a new solution developed using advanced sound processing technologies and artificial intelligence. Participants learned about the research behind the technology and explored its capabilities. The main focus was not simply on making speech clearer, but on ensuring that people have access to the rich sound environment around them. After all, in everyday life, we hear more than just the person speaking to us — we hear the space around us, events, signals, voices, and sounds that help us understand what is happening.

Oticon Zeal: Technology in a New Form

Special attention was given to the successes and practical experience of using Oticon Zeal, with discussions focusing on initial results and practical insights. Seminar participants shared their experiences of introducing this hearing solution in different markets, discussed feedback from hearing care professionals and users, and explored approaches that help make new technologies accessible to more people. For international partners, these discussions are particularly valuable, as they provide an opportunity to look beyond the product presentation and hear real-world examples of its use in different countries.

Modern Hearing Care Starts with the Person

A dedicated part of the seminar focused on the Clinical Journey — the patient’s journey through hearing care. This is a topic that goes far beyond technology. A person may live with hearing loss for years and postpone seeking professional help. The reasons can vary — from underestimating the problem to fear of change or a lack of information about the modern options available.  That is why it is important to focus not only on technology, but on the entire journey a person takes: from the first consultation and professional assessment to selecting a hearing solution, fitting and fine-tuning, adaptation, and ongoing support. This comprehensive approach is increasingly shaping the development of modern hearing care.

When 35 Countries Share Their Experience

One of the greatest values of the Partner Seminar was the opportunity to connect with colleagues from different countries. Representatives of international markets shared their own cases, talked about working with patients, the development of hearing care, and practical solutions implemented in their respective countries. Alongside clinical and technological topics, participants also discussed digital marketing, communication automation, the use of artificial intelligence by marketing teams, and new ways of engaging with users.  This kind of exchange offers an opportunity to look at familiar processes from a different perspective and bring home not only new knowledge, but also new ideas. For Aurora, taking part in the Partner Seminar is above all an opportunity to keep growing together with the international professional community. New technologies, colleagues’ experience, modern clinical approaches, and a better understanding of global trends in hearing care — all of this is knowledge that the Aurora team brings back to Ukraine. We continue to follow technological developments, learn from international experience, and implement modern approaches so that people in Ukraine have access to high-quality, professional hearing care. Oticon Partner Seminar 2026 has come to an end, but the work of shaping the future of hearing care continues. For Aurora, this means moving forward — together with our partners, colleagues, and technologies that help people hear more of what truly matters.
